"Every Friday (7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.), Saturday (7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.), and Sunday (12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.) now through the end of the year." That is how Crossroads Bellevue described its 2026 Live Music at the Market Stage series in an announcement giving June 5, 2026 as the start date. The announcement adds that all performances are free.
The Market Stage runs on a weekly clock that carries into November. The performers change from weekend to weekend, and with two listed exceptions covered below, the time slots stay the same. That means November weekends at Crossroads can mostly be planned before checking who is playing.
The three slots that repeat every weekend
The schedule has three slots, and each falls at a different point in the day:
- Friday, 7 to 8:45 p.m. An after-dinner set at the end of the work week.
- Saturday, 7 to 8:45 p.m. The same window a night later.
- Sunday, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. A lunchtime set that fits around errands and the rest of the weekend.
According to the announcement, the lineup covers "acoustic guitar, Cuban music, jazz, local choirs and more." It also says guests "are encouraged to dine at one of the center's many restaurants." That last line describes how the stage is set up.
Where the stage sits sets the evening's timing
The stage has shared a space with the food court for a long time. A Bellevue Reporter item from April 2008 placed it beside the food court even then, which means it has been part of the public market for at least 18 years. The listeners at the tables are mostly people who came for dinner.
Crossroads' dining directory currently lists Annam, Banaras, Bulgogi, Chakra Restaurant and Boba Express among its restaurants. That makes it easy to have dinner during a set, and dinner sets the timing more than any other part of the evening.
Crossroads' posted regular hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The Friday and Saturday sets end at 8:45, which leaves 15 minutes before the doors close. If you want dinner with the music, order early. The Sunday set ends at 2:30 with three and a half hours of open mall still ahead, so Sunday has the most room around the show.
November, weekend by weekend
Here is the Market Stage schedule from Halloween weekend through the end of November, as posted on the Crossroads events page.
| Weekend | Friday, 7 p.m. | Saturday, 7 p.m. | Sunday, 12:30 p.m. |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oct 30 – Nov 1 | Blue Moon Jazz | Michael Powers | Dysfunction Junction |
| Nov 6 – 8 | Quarter Past 8 | Moondance | Duo GalAnd |
| Nov 13 – 15 | Gretta Matassa | Nutcracker at 5 p.m., then Seattle Jazz Network | Brazz |
| Nov 20 – 22 | No listing | Scott Cossu | Luiggi Chancafe, listed 12:30 to 8:45 p.m. |
| Nov 27 – 29 | Billy Brant, listed 12:30 to 8:45 p.m. | Aftershock | Lucile Street |
Two weekends stand out. One adds a second program on a Sunday afternoon. The other puts four separate performances into three days.
November 1 has two Sunday programs
On Sunday, Nov. 1, Dysfunction Junction plays the regular 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. set. An hour later the stage hosts a second program, which the City of Bellevue lists as "Interrelatedness: Fusion of Musical Traditions from East and West." It runs from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. at the Market Stage. The city's listing says Global Artists Collective is bringing the performers together for cross-cultural performances as part of Cross-Cultural Center Without Walls. The city lists the event but does not host it.
The two programs are close enough to make one afternoon. Arrive for the end of the first set, have a late lunch from the food court during the break, and stay for the 3:30 program. It ends at 4:45, more than an hour before the Sunday 6 p.m. closing. No other Sunday this month offers two programs.
Mid-November has the busiest weekend
The weekend of Nov. 13 to 15 has the most range of the month.
Friday, Nov. 13. The Crossroads listing spells the name "Gretta Matassa." Greta Matassa's own site describes her as a vocalist and jazz singer.
Saturday, Nov. 14, 5 p.m. A half-hour Nutcracker performance runs from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Crossroads' event page links it to BelArts Ballet. It is the only early-evening performance on the November calendar, and it ends early enough for dinner at the food court.
Saturday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m. The regular evening set goes to Seattle Jazz Network, which describes itself as a nine-piece jazz orchestra whose members also perform in smaller ensembles. With the Nutcracker at 5 and the jazz set at 7, Saturday has music on either side of dinner.
Sunday, Nov. 15. Earshot Jazz describes Brazz as a mix of American jazz standards with Brazilian samba, bossa nova and originals.
The weekend before has variety too. On Sunday, Nov. 8, Duo GalAnd plays. A Northwest Folklife profile describes the duo's violin-and-pan-flute arrangements, with a repertoire covering classical, world music, jazz and American popular classics.
On Saturday, Nov. 21, the evening slot goes to Scott Cossu. His own biography calls him an Olympia-based pianist, composer, recording artist, radio host and film composer. The calendar has no act listed for Friday, Nov. 20, so Saturday is the first show that weekend.
Thanksgiving weekend and two unusual listings
Two November listings don't fit the usual slots. The Luiggi Chancafe page for Sunday, Nov. 22, lists 12:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. The Billy Brant page for Friday, Nov. 27, the day after Thanksgiving, uses the same 12:30 to 8:45 p.m. window. Both are far longer than the published weekly pattern. The Sunday listing also runs past the posted 6 p.m. Sunday closing. Check both event pages again the week of the show before planning an afternoon around either one.
Chancafe's teacher profile names guitar as his main instrument and lists rock, R&B, blues, jazz and funk among the genres he has played.
Aftershock plays Saturday, Nov. 28, and Lucile Street closes out the month on Sunday, Nov. 29. As of late October, the Holiday Hours section of the Crossroads hours page is blank, and the events calendar through Nov. 29 has no Santa or holiday programming listed. Without a holiday update, the regular 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. hours would apply on Friday and Saturday, with the 6 p.m. close on Sunday.
Something to do between sets
The newest store at Crossroads holds events on some of the same nights as the stage. Crossroads marks Casual Decks as "New" in its directory. The shop describes itself as a trading-card-game store with events every day, located at 15600 NE 8th St., Suite H8.
For Oct. 23 through 28, the posted schedule lists a One Piece Store Tournament at 6 p.m. on Friday and MTG Commander Night starting at noon on Saturday. Sunday has Gundam Store Play at 11 a.m. and Nexus Night at 2 p.m. Weeknights have Gundam and One Piece store play at 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday added Commander Night. If that pattern holds, the Friday tournament starts an hour before the stage's 7 p.m. set, and Sunday's Nexus Night starts just before the lunchtime set ends. A household with a card player and a music listener can do both on the same trip.
That brings the plan back to the same three slots. A Friday or Saturday trip starts with dinner around 6:30 and ends when the music and the mall finish within 15 minutes of each other. A Sunday trip starts around lunch, and on Nov. 1 it can run until 4:45.
